Fine Motor Fun: Alphabet & Number Formation Practice with Q-Tips and Paint

Hi friends!

I'm popping in to share a little freebie with you today!

I posted this picture on Instagram a couple days ago...

and it got 105 likes.

105! I know for some that might not be many but for me it was crazy! Even my boyfriend was excited lol

A lot of people asked me to share the worksheet I used on Instagram, so here it is!

This is a simple literacy/math centre.
All you need is copies of the sheet you are using, q-tips for each color of paint and some paint!

I found the paint in the photos at Dollarama.
They come attached but I just snipped them with scissors to separate them so that it would be easier for the kids to share the colours.

I tried the alphabet version above first and it was such a huge hit that I made a number one for math centres the next day.

If you would like to download this FREE activity, click on the image below and you can grab it from my TPT store!

I hope you can use it and that your kids love it as much as mine did!

First Day of School Co-Worker & Student Gift Idea

Knock, knock...

is anybody there?

I've been neglecting this little blog of mine!
I can't believe I haven't posted for over a month and a half!
I was busy over at Designs by Yukari (now closed until next summer) all of August and then B2S prep took over my life!

There are lots of new ideas I'm trying out in my room that I'm hoping to share here soon but today I'm just quickly popping in to share the co-worker and students gift I gave out on the first day of school :)

I'm sure everyone is past their first day of school by now but I'm hoping you can tuck it away for next year! I loved these because they were cheap and easy!  I bought 3 bags of starbursts to make gifts for 23 students and 10 co-workers!

You can download the tags by clicking on the image above or by clicking here.
I also made tags that say "I am bursting with happiness that you are in my class this year!" for those of you who don't co-teach with a partner like I do :)

I hope you can use these in the future!
